What does your score mean?

According to this test, you have a reasonably high level of self-esteem. There is, however, still some room for improvement. You seem to experience some doubt about your own abilities, occasional feelings of inadequacy and possibly even question your own self-worth from time to time. Essentially, you sometimes get caught up in a vicious circle; if you believe that you cannot do something, your belief causes you to think and behave in a way that leads to your eventual failure. Although your self-esteem is generally healthy, and some insecurity is normal, it certainly can't hurt to give your confidence a boost. There is a wide range of resources available out there on the subject, why not check them out? You'll certainly see the long-term benefits - increased confidence, better relationships, less anxiety and an overall improved sense of well-being.

You know who you are and what you need to be happy and usually are willing to take the time to do something that will fulfill you. You are always trying to improve yourself and surround yourself with supportive friends or family. You see your strengths but may need to learn to work with your weaknesses. For example, you may have a short attention span and work best in spurts. By recognizing this and giving yourself frequent breaks, you will be more productive.

My thoughts
In terms of my self-esteem I feel I have come a long way in the past year. I remember when people did wrong by me or things weren't going my way I would just accept it which would bring me down as I felt I never had control over my life. I was never able to live on my own values and beliefs and that was killing me on the inside. I tend to bottle things up and I was a bomb waiting to explode. I think in the past year I have been more open and expressive with who I am and how I feel which has been great for myself esteem. It feels like a weight off my shoulders just letting things that upset me out. Though there are still somethings I don't open up about I feel I have come a long way.

Anxiety Tests

i. http://psychcentral.com/quizzes/anxiety.htm

You scored a total of 12
You have answered this anxiety screening in such a way as to suggest that you are not likely currently suffering from an anxiety disorder. Remember that a little anxiety in normal, everyday life is to be expected and is a good thing. Nobody should be without any anxiety whatsoever, as anxiety is our body's way of telling us that we should pay closer attention to a situation, event or person in our lives (even if that person is ourselves). Scoring in this range suggests you have that normal level of anxiety but would not likely qualify for an anxiety disorder diagnosis. You should not take this as a diagnosis or recommendation for treatment in any way, though.

My thoughts
Some of these tests suggest that I may have an anxiety disorder. I don't think so. I think the anxiety I experience is natural and normal to the point where it does stop me from functioning from day to day. I feel it is important to feel anxiety because it's what makes acting on our desires much more worth it. If you do not experience anxiety then you are not human.

Personal Wins for the week 13/06/2010

Date Specifically, what is it? Benefit to You
09/06/2010 Approached a group set during the day and got a a number close. Beautiful women are usually in groups and it scares the shit out of me. I normally approach women when they are on their own.

09/06/2010 Approached an Asian girl
I don’t normally approach Asian girls as I'm not that attracted to them. But it could just be a mental block as most of the harshest rejections I have ever been given are from Asian girls. I'm going to approach Asian girls more often not to pick them up but to know I have the option and know that it's not fear stopping me from approaching them. This girl I met was really cool and bubbly. An Australianised Asian girl who conducted herself in a way which I thought was very attractive. I got a number close and she has been responding to my texts. I'm looking forward to taking her out.

11/06/2010 Got a job interview
I have felt a strong amount of fear in changing jobs because I didn't feel like I would make the same amount of money as I am making now. As I am a shift worker I also get shift allowance which bumps up my pay massively so to go back to a 9-5 job would significantly slash my pay. I felt I didn't have what it takes to make the amount of money I am making now without shift allowance. I didn't feel like I had the skills or experience. Getting the interview has really shaken me, in a good way and has given me some juice. Something to be excited about.

11/06/2010 Started doing BJJ again
It felt good to be back on the mat. Even though I had my ass kicked it was the feeling of being in a survival situation. I gives me a bit of a jolt. Something which makes me feel alive.
